Wu Fei solo album – “A distant Youth” - Forrest Hills Records

Produced by Giovanni Amighetti, the album presents Wu Fei original guzheng/vocal compositions and improvisations. The album is a marriage of the artist’s traditional Chinese music roots and contemporary compositional approach. The album will also feature the amazing talents of music legends Helge A. Norbakken, Fred Frith, Carla Kihlstedt, and others.

Shan Qi

Shan Qi DVD recording has taken place between September 21st and 30th on Dolomiti, Venice, Carnia, Comelico and Sudtirol.
Artists are Guo Yue, Giovanni Amighetti, Wu Fei, Guido Ponzini and Helge A. Norbakken.
Video production by Hive, collaborating with LaDodiciVideo.
Shan Qi DVD recording will present a musical encounter between world musicians as Guo Yue, Helge Andreas Norbakken, Guido Ponzini, Giovanni Amighetti and Wu Fei. It has been shot on Italian Alps, Sexten region, Drei Zinnen. DVD will use an innovative technique of musical video recording called VMT. Shan Qi DVD will be released in May 2007. The production company and the musicians are working on the audio CD of Shan Qi to be out by 2008.
